By downloading, installing, or using EloisChess ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

EloisChess is a chess training application that provides AI-powered move analysis, tactical pattern recognition, interactive lessons, and daily training puzzles. The App uses on-device chess engine analysis and cloud-based language model services to deliver coaching commentary.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's services
• Redistribute or resell any part of the App

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the property of EloisChess and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EloisChess shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
